Top Food and Drink Apps on Android in the Middle East - Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the Middle Eastern market saw significant activity in the food and drink app category on the Android platform. Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of the top five apps in this category.

Keeta - Food Delivery, developed by KANGAROO LIMITED, experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads. Starting with over 108K downloads in early January, the app peaked mid-month with approximately 603K before gradually declining to about 47K by early March. Active users showed an upward trend, beginning with around 217K and reaching a high of nearly 389K by the end of March.

talabat: Food, grocery & more, from Kuwait's Talabat, maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 35K and increasing to over 50K by the end of the quarter. Active users also increased steadily, peaking at approximately 1.8M by March end.

Ninja - نينجا, by Ana Ninja, saw a decline in downloads from 99K in early January to about 56K by March. However, active users showed resilience, fluctuating between 620K and 803K, with a notable peak in the final week of March at 731K.

Toters: Food Delivery & More, developed by TOTERapp LLC, had a relatively stable download pattern, ranging from 2K to 2.5K throughout the quarter. Active user numbers remained consistent, hovering around 50K, with slight increases in late March.

HungerStation, from HungerStation Care, demonstrated a stable to increasing download trend, starting at 42K and rising to over 71K by the end of March. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at 2.8M and peaking at over 3.1M.
